The adventure begins in Paro, where you explore the town and visit its museum before starting the trail through pine forests, meadows, and ridges. Along the way, you encounter stunning mountain vistas, traditional yak herders, ancient fortresses, and high-altitude lakes, culminating in a descent to Thimphu with visits to monasteries, markets, and cultural landmarks.

The trek is completed over seven days at a moderate pace, with comfortable camping in well-equipped tents, nutritious meals prepared by the trekking crew, and opportunities to reflect amid pristine wilderness. Each day blends scenic hiking with cultural exploration, creating an immersive experience that captures the essence of Bhutan’s landscapes and traditions.

Welcome to Paro

Upon landing at Paro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax and refresh after your flight before heading out to explore the town.

In the afternoon, visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong), located in a historic watchtower. The museum offers an insightful collection of Bhutanese art, relics, and artifacts, providing a fascinating introduction to the country’s cultural heritage.

Afterward, wander through Paro’s lively market, where local vendors display handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. This is a perfect opportunity to pick up unique keepsakes and immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.

Daily hiking distances range from 10–15 kilometers, depending on the trail conditions and elevation gain.

There is no upper age limit; however, participants should be in good physical condition.

Altitude sickness can be a concern, as some sections reach high elevations. Trekking guides are trained to recognize symptoms and will closely monitor participants’ well-being. Proper acclimatization, staying hydrated, and following the guide’s instructions are essential.
