Today, we explore the green north of Jordan. After breakfast, we head to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world. Walking through its ancient streets and grand ruins feels like stepping back in time.

From Jerash, we take a short drive through rolling hills dotted with olive trees and light forests to Ajloun. Here, we visit the Ajloun Castle, which once guarded key trade and pilgrimage routes connecting Jerusalem, Cairo, Damascus, and Mecca. Its impressive fortifications offer a very different but equally captivating experience compared to Jerash.

Later, we visit a local family in a nearby village and enjoy a traditional home-cooked meal. This is a wonderful chance to learn about daily life in rural Jordan. After lunch, we return to Amman to conclude the day.

Overnight: Amman

The day begins with a city tour of Amman. We start at the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two historic sites that showcase the city’s layers of ancient civilizations. Walking through the Old City, you will see how tradition blends seamlessly with modern life. Along the way, we admire the striking Al-Husseini Mosque and stop at a local restaurant to taste authentic Jordanian street food, including falafel and hummus.

In the afternoon, we leave Amman and descend a winding road over 1,000 meters to reach the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. At 400 meters below sea level, you can float effortlessly in its salty waters, apply the famous mineral-rich mud, or relax by the pool. For those seeking extra pampering, spa treatments are available. This is the perfect opportunity to unwind and leave all stress behind.

Overnight: Amman

Our journey to southern Jordan begins with a visit to Mount Nebo. Here, we explore the newly renovated church and take in panoramic views over the Jordan Valley, a site traditionally associated with Moses’ final glimpse of the Promised Land.

A short drive brings us to Madaba, known for its remarkable Byzantine mosaics. The highlight is the famous Madaba Map, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Land, discovered in the heart of the town.

Continuing south, we reach Karak, once a major center of the ancient Moabite Kingdom. The city is dominated by the impressive remains of a Crusader fortress, where we explore its stone halls and passageways and learn about medieval military architecture.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Wadi Musa, the modern town located next to Petra.

Overnight: Petra

Today is dedicated to Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and Jordan’s most famous landmark. Known as the Rose-Red City, Petra is a unique ancient city carved directly into sandstone cliffs and hidden from the outside world for centuries.

The visit begins with a walk through the Siq, a narrow gorge that forms Petra’s dramatic entrance. As the rock walls gradually open, the iconic Treasury comes into view — the site’s most photographed monument.

From here, we continue exploring the ancient city, discovering rock-cut tombs, caves, and other carved structures scattered throughout the site. After lunch, there is time to go beyond the main route and visit the impressive Monastery, one of Petra’s most rewarding highlights.

Overnight: Petra

After breakfast, we leave the mountains of Petra behind and travel south to the dramatic desert landscapes of Wadi Rum. Upon arrival, we meet our Bedouin hosts and begin a 4×4 jeep safari across the desert. The route takes us through wide valleys and narrow gorges, past ancient rock inscriptions, sand dunes, and a natural rock bridge.

Throughout the day, there is time to stop, walk, scramble, and explore the desert at your own pace. Lunch is prepared over an open fire and enjoyed in the shade of the red sandstone mountains.

As the day comes to an end, we watch a breathtaking desert sunset before returning to our camp. The evening is spent sharing dinner, experiencing traditional Bedouin hospitality, and relaxing under a sky filled with stars, with plenty of tea to round off the day.

Overnight: Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum

After breakfast overlooking the desert, we leave Wadi Rum and travel south to the coastal city of Aqaba on the Red Sea. Known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs, Aqaba is Jordan’s gateway to the sea.

Here, we join a boat trip, with time to relax on the sun deck, swim, and snorkel above colorful coral reefs. A freshly prepared lunch on board completes the experience, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure.

Depending on weather conditions and flight schedules, departure will be from either King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba or Queen Alia International Airport near Amman. Accordingly, you will either stay overnight in Aqaba or travel back to Amman.

On the final day of the tour, guests will check out from their accommodation after breakfast and transfer to airport. For international flights, it is generally recommended to allow at least four hours to reach the airport and complete check-in procedures.
