The route reaches its highest point at Thorong La Pass (5,416 m / 17,769 ft) and descends into the Kali Gandaki Valley, one of the deepest gorges in the world, framed by Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri. Along the way, you pass traditional mountain villages, ancient monasteries, sacred pilgrimage sites, yak pastures, and gain sweeping views of peaks such as Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Thorong Peak.
The trek combines gradual ascents, acclimatization days, and scenic descents, allowing a balance of physical challenge and rewarding scenery.
