Traverse the diverse landscapes of the Nepal Himalayas on an adventure filled with panoramic views and rich local culture. This trek follows a circular route around the Annapurna Massif, taking you through lush forests, terraced farmlands, alpine meadows, and dramatic high mountain valleys, offering a complete Himalayan experience.

The route reaches its highest point at Thorong La Pass (5,416 m / 17,769 ft) and descends into the Kali Gandaki Valley, one of the deepest gorges in the world, framed by Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri. Along the way, you pass traditional mountain villages, ancient monasteries, sacred pilgrimage sites, yak pastures, and gain sweeping views of peaks such as Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Thorong Peak.

The trek combines gradual ascents, acclimatization days, and scenic descents, allowing a balance of physical challenge and rewarding scenery. Daily walks, village stops, and short hikes let trekkers enjoy the culture, wildlife, and scenery while acclimatizing to higher altitudes, making the journey both safe and unforgettable.

Tour provider's comments

This trek involves long walking days, high altitudes, and varied terrain, so it’s important to set realistic expectations and prepare both physically and mentally.

You can expect 5–8 hours of walking each day. Trails range from well-maintained paths and stone steps to rocky, uneven sections at higher elevations. There are steep ascents and descents, and occasional river crossings, which makes the trek moderately to highly strenuous for most people. Good stamina, comfortable footwear, and pacing yourself are essential to avoid fatigue.

The trek reaches its highest point at Thorong La Pass (5,416m/17,769 ft). At this altitude, oxygen levels are lower, increasing the risk of Altitude Sickness. Proper acclimatization days in Manang and gradual elevation gain are crucial to help your body adjust.
