Tirana

After arriving at Tirana Airport, you’ll be greeted by our driver holding a sign with your name or our logo. A quick 30-minute transfer brings you to your cozy 3-star hotel right in the center of Tirana. Depending on your arrival time, meet your guide for a short briefing and bike fitting before 18:00—or the following morning.

Use the rest of the day to discover Tirana’s charm at your own pace or join a donation-based walking tour. Wander through the lively New Bazaar, learn about the city’s communist past, or relax in one of the cafés around Skanderbeg Square. As evening falls, enjoy a drink in the fashionable Blloku district and get a taste of the local nightlife—your Albanian cycling adventure is about to begin!

Accommodation throughout the trip includes hotels with private ensuite rooms. On day 3 in Germenj, you’ll spend the night in a farm bungalow with two bedrooms sharing one bathroom within your group. In Gjirokaster and in Korca, you’ll stay in charming historic buildings, and in Himare, right by the beach.

Vila 60 in Tirana

Vila 60 is a building constructed in 1931, based on the idea and design of the well-known engineer Harry Fultz. In its beginnings, this villa has been used as a hostel for the teachers of “Harry Fultz” school. In 2012, the building was reconstructed to become a hotel, protecting in the same time its existing architecture very carefully.

The Hotel offers 10 rooms and 2 suites, 2 relaxing areas, the bar and the restaurant and also guaranteed parking. The very hospitable personnel at Vila 60 will be in your disposal for 24 hours a day.

No, unfortunately that’s not possible. We require a minimum of two travelers on our self-guided tours for safety reasons. We recommend solo travelers to join a group tour on the same or similar route instead.
