Dive into a cross-border hiking adventure through Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Peaks of the Balkans.
This 11-day journey begins in Shkodra and follows a long route through the Albanian Alps, the remote highlands of Kosovo and the dramatic ridges of Montenegro. From the fjord-like Komani Lake, the route leads through Valbona, Cerem and the secluded pasture of Doberdol before reaching the three-border peak of Tromedja. You continue across Kosovo’s alpine meadows and into Montenegro’s Prokletije National Park, walking high above the impressive Grbaja Valley.
We arrange your transfers, overnight stays, as well as provide all the needed support and materials for a hassle-free, self-guided trip to enjoy at your own pace. The trail then leads back into Albania via an ancient route to Theth, before a refreshing swim in the stone pools of Nderlysaj and a final overnight in lively Tirana — a vibrant contrast to the wilderness you've explored.
This trip is available for a minimum of 2 people (€1494 per person) in self-guided mode.
