Route details

Your day begins with a hotel pickup in Amman at 7:00 AM. At 10:30 AM, arrive at the ancient city of Petra and enter through the dramatic Siq canyon. Follow the main trail to discover Petra’s iconic landmarks and learn about its fascinating history. Around 1:00 PM, enjoy some free time to explore on your own, relax, or take a short trail around the site. At 3:00 PM, depart for Wadi Rum, a scenic two-hour drive to Jordan’s famous desert valley known for its striking red sand dunes and dramatic rock formations. By 5:00 PM, switch to an off-road vehicle and venture through the desert sands to your Bedouin camp. The day ends with a traditional Zarb dinner at 8:30 PM

Accommodation is on a twin-share basis. Travelers booking together will share a room, while single travelers will share a room with someone of the same gender.

The tour uses fixed-site, touristic Bedouin camps in Wadi Rum.

Smaller, more basic camps are typically selected to reduce crowds and create a more intimate atmosphere. Bathrooms are generally off-suite, with separate facilities for women and men. Rooms do not have air conditioning or heating, but desert temperatures are usually cooler at night.
